"This game was set up by Fox to make Davis look good."
"Since the panthers offence is obviously one dimensional with davis pounding the ball, why didnt we key in on that during the game and try to stop it?"
"Bruce Smith was also not there which could have made a difference."

Damn, I bet all the coaches wish they could figure out a way to make their running back look as good with over 10 ypc.

There is obviously some sort of conspiracy going on in which our coaches want Davis to play well. After reading that joke who goes by barry49 and those posts it is obvious they are delusional/

Yeah well JR has gone through the learning curve and found out that the football people know more than him, Snyder has a few more years left to go.

Stevil is also playing college coach and trying to build a team around his concept and not altering his concept to work with his team. He's gonna be fishing with sefert soon I'm afraid.

Along these lines....

I think the biggest thing is that I don't think he realizes how detrimental it is to go three and out several (multiple) times in a game. You just can't send your O out there and take three shots and then have them trot off again after three passes. I mean, this ain't Florida we are talking about here. He can't trot out superior athletes on D anymore to make up for those three-and-outs. The talent difference just isn't great enough to make up for the O not being able to stay on the field. Eventually, the D gets beat down even when the D is equal or better than the O they are facing. Just an opinion though...

I thought he had started to learn this lesson towards the end of the season last year. Guess not.

He did leave a bunch of guys back in DC, however I'm not sure it much matters, I'm glad davis was wearing black and teal last night.

I've always liked Davis. Y'all gonna love that dude. But he was expensive and fumbled at some REALLY bad times last year so he was tossed. Perfect fit for your O though.

I agree with you. He coulda brought whoever he wanted last night and I don't think it would've mattered. Just gotta keep reminding yourself it's the preseason for now.
