A regular cable modem connection. No fancy hardware or software. The speed seems high. I thought home modems were capped at about 384K/s for downloads? 549 k/s? If it's really working that fast......

Is this on a program like uTorrent? I never get over 100 kbps...

it is utorrent. And I constantly get speeds of 300 and up when you add up several files. I guess it all depends on the file and the connection. That one was for a tv show I missed due to Project Runway.

Its right... basically you're downloading from multiple sources that all have a fast upload speed. Rare, but I've seen it happen.

2nd that emotion, that is really fast, all depends on the torrent, and how accesible.

On a sub-note, I wonder why downloading torrents is not as popular as it should be? Every time I talk about torrents, people start clamming up like I'm talking bad about the Pope?? I've got one REALLY killer site I use out of England, luv it!:PubDrink:

It's almost like no one wants to let anyone in on the secret.
