Hi, i participated in a live draft last night and want some feedback on how you think i did

http://www.droogie.co.uk/draft.html

my team was 'Brindlescruff'

Now my opinion was that i paniced at QB (could have done fine later) that Derrik Alexander was a massive reach - even for a backup (i have dropped him to pick up Fred Taylor off the free agent market already)

I'm still thinking about what i should do. In my league we use default yahoo points except that you get 1 point for every 10 yards of return yards (punt and kick) so i'm thinking of dropping a backup wr for steve smith because he'l get some play for the cats this year but is one of the premier return guys.

opinions?

also: who do y'all think is the team to beat?

I refuse to answer questions of people who belong to leagues where Fred Taylor and Steve Smith can be had on the waiver wire.

lol, i know, i'm as guilty as the next guy but this is the first ff draft for half the guys and there are only 7 in the league so theres more goodun's left over.

Culpepper is a rock solid QB.

Price will be a better player than Alexander this year so you are OK there.

Jettison Fiedler and get Trent Green.

MUST BE NICE TO PLAY IN A LEAGUE WHERE ANTWOIN SMITH IS LAST PLAYER SELECTED IN THE NINTH RD.

The best pick of your draft was when Battling Bovines picked his team name. I like it.

I don't care what anyone says about you guys.

You guys aint mean at all ;-)

helpful (sarcy) comments aside. What are your opinions on dropping a guy to get steve smith (given that return men get points)

like i said, i've already dropped alexander (i didn't want him anyway, it was a panic pick). I'm not sure who to drop next.

And RE:fiedler Vs Green, i like greens upside but think that fiedler might be more stable so i'm not sold although if KC come through i would regret not taking him...

You're going to need another TE and another DEF for depth.

I didn't notice Ken Dilger (TB) taken, so if he's available you might want to grab him.

As far as defenses go, Dallas wouldn't be a bad one to fill in for NE for the bye week.

I dunno. This shits all relative. Actually makes it kind of fun. Instead of scores being like 74 - 63, it ends up being 113 - 89. More points = more fun.
