Everybody gets a night feature. Since the Bears and 9ers weren't good enough to make the playoffs, it doesn't make a lot of sense to have them on MNF, no.

chicago is playing in a newly renovated stadium...the nfl likes to showcase new stadiums...not sure whey they chose SF...maybe SF draws viewers better than other teams.

Given the same circumstances, Carolina would not get a MNF bid. The stadium has a little something to do with it as does the fact that both are big market teams.
