It is a pretty good move for the Redskins if you ask me. They get a solid veteran QB. Coles and company become more effective right away. Ramsey probably develops better this way too. They are in dire need of a running back. I could see them going after Corey Dillon.

I don't see the move for Washington. They have a QB, they could go get a second level vet to do what Brunell, a starter, will bring behind Ramsey.

and how is this supposed to help them resign Bailey? Snyder is the worst person alive when it comes to the cap. I bet a 9 year old with down's syndrome could do better. I've heard they are after Kearse as well.

Kearse makes sense because he's a name and he wants to play for Gregg Williams. They do have a big need for that. Add in a young defensive tackle, and a weakside linebacker with some speed, and you have a decent front.
