This article is up on NFL.com about the Broncos and whether this year's team with Peyton at the helm will do better or worse than last year's team with Teebow running the show. My first thought is that they will probably win more than 8 games but not win the division or a playoff game. Then I thought about how Fox has never had an elite QB and how good the Panthers were the years Jake was able to play decently for most games. Now I am not sure. Elway will look like an idiot if they miss the playoffs though, especially if Teebow ends up starting and leads the Jets to the playoffs.

Can Peyton Manning top Tim Tebow's run with Denver Broncos? - NFL.com

I think they'll be "better", but they won't make the playoffs. They have a very difficult schedule, especially at the beginning, which is where they really needed it to be easy so they could win games while Manning is still getting back into stride.

I don't think Tebow makes the playoffs either.

I will be curious to see how things go for the Jets with Tebow. Will he beat out Sanchez, will he do well if he does, will the team play hard for him like they did in Denver?

I think it's inevitable that he starts. I just don't think he'll have enough around him, and who knows if Sparano will even be a good OC.

I think Tebow can win on a team with a solid defense and running game. He is not going to cause you to get beat very often. His ceiling is pretty low unless he somehow learns to throw better but he can be a game manager and can inspire his teammates. If the Jets can get their defense back to where it was a couple of years ago and the running game is decent I think they can get back in the playoffs with Tebow. They did it with Sanchez and he sucks.

I would be curious to see some of John Fox's finest timepieces on this thread.

Theyll suck. The football gods have been angered. When you replace a winning QB you invite bad juju. Wade Phillips never shook the Flutie curse of 99. Ravens replace Dilfer after a SB win, bad juju....i cant say i wouldnt enjoy it all falling apart for Fox and Elway.

They replaced him Peyton Manning, not Rob Johnson. It's a major upgrade. There's just too many other holes on that team. John Fox will put together another epic late season run, but they'll probably go 9-7 and miss the playoffs.

I really think Buffalo is better than NYJ right now.
