cal and texas both have ONE loss. Cal lost a close one to BCS #1 USC, Texas lost more convincingly to BCS #2 Oklahoma.

get rid of the bowls and the bcs. sportswriters should not "pick" the ncaa d1 champion. just imagine of how this way of thinking would have affected d1 hoops down through the years. the list of bcs applolgists is growing shorter each year. the old guard is gonna hafta die off before we see the national champ decided on the field.......where it should be.........like every other d1 sport does. oh yeah, those d11 and d111 schools are getting it done too, and with alot less money or fanfare. they just do it. but we all know what drives this bus, BIG $$$$$ and as long as $$$$$ is the main focus we wont see it. so all you bcs appoligists on tv, STFU about your reasons as to why the bcs and the antiquated bowl system is the best way to decide our d1 champ, you're all full of it. stfu.
