He should not be acknowledged as the HR leader if he breaks the record because he admitted in grand jury testimony to taking anabolic steroids.

whatever. You aren't a baseball fan if you think Bonds is all steroids. He is a sick offensive machine and steroids could have only helped that a little. He's fun to watch and is better than other "steroid" guys like strikeout sammy, the king of unimportant HR's.

As for him being a piece of shit, he seems to only want to pass Ruth anyways, since Aaron's record is better, yet Ruth is the holy man of baseball.

I see it more as getting back at the racist pieces of shit that put ruth on a higher level, even though he played during a time of all whites. Bonds took all his records in a time when the competition is at a much higher level.

Bonds took all his records in a time when pitching was watered down from expansion, balls were designed to travel farther, and outfield fences brought in to make it easier to hit homeruns. Bonds probably doesn't hit 400 if he played in Ruth's era and definitely not if he doesn't spend half his career on the juice.
