Govt Mule: didn't suck (played a set of Dead tunes with Bob Weir, then a set of Zeppelin tunes with John Paul Jones til 4 am)
Wilco: didn't suck
Ween: didn't suck
Tool: didn't suck
DJ Shadow: didn't suck
Black Keys: didn't suck

Police: meh...not bad but not great
Flaming Lips: meh...Wayne needs to shut up
Wolfmother: meh...not impressed
Ben Harper: meh...don't get the appeal

Decembrists: sucked
Fountains of Wayne: sucked...just watched them to get a spot for Ween...terrible

What's Ween like with a crowd that big? I've only seen them at Ziggy's.
Kings of Leon is growing on me.
It sounds like that Government Mule show was one of those, "Holy Shit! I'm so fucked up! And this is the greatest fucking show I've ever been to. I can't imagine life ever being better than it is right now!" kind of deals.

the Ween crowd was huge, you couldn't get anywhere near the stage

When I first started seeing them it was a cozy environment but now they have gotten really big. They do feed off the insanity of the crowd well.
