Talked to Larry and the board is bogging down some due to bandwidth issues. To go to a dedicated server, which will be much faster and keep us from having to go back and delete posts, it would cost $80.00 a month. That would be $4.00 a month from 20 members. I know there's at least 20 posters here that would or should be willing to pay that much, and I'm pretty sure many more than that would pitch in - the more people, the less bucks. If we get 40, thats $2.00 per person a month. I'm willing to pay at least $4.00, and I'll send in $50.00 for a whole year right away if we can get enough people. So I'm posting this poll to see what everybody thinks. If we get at least 20 yes's, it's a go. The board would be superfast and we probably wouldn't have to upgrade again for a long time.

Also, Larry said we can even get another e-mail address if we go to a dedicated server - [email protected]

it's mighty nice of you folks to want to help out. anything you contribute will go solely to the costs incurred by this board

also, when we move to a dedicated server, we'll be able to set up personalized e-mails for all the donating members with a "thisboardrocks" address (ie: [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected]).
