Blue Moon Belgian Wheat Ale: My review

Not too bad. Not what I expected though. Bit too watery. The coriander and orange peel were muted. It did go well with the goat cheese. I would recommend this ale to drink with dinner, but skip it if you are going to enjoy the ale just for itself.

i like blue moon, but would not drink it with cheese. too contrasting. try it with a more subtle food

try abita purple haze with a nice fish/pasta dinner. the raspberry acts as a palate cleanser

I wll admit that the cheese goes better with McChouffe Belgian Brown Ale, but hey, I was experimenting.

I concur. That's probably why I found the Blue Moon to be disappointing. I also found out it's made by Coors.
