Bizarre. I just cracked open a new 50 pack of blank DVD + and used maybe 6-10. Then I pull the next 12 off and I think their bad. The properly working DVD burner doesn't recognize it AT ALL. No used space, no free space, NOTHING other than 0 for available and 0 for used space. Occassionally I'll get a bad one but this batch is crap. Bought it after Christmas in Wilmington somewhere (Office Depot I think). Guess I have a lot of coasters now

If your burner doesn't read DVD+, it'll act just like that. You prolly got a DVD- only drive.

Nope, I have burned both DVD + and -s
Here is my burner. Unfortunately I bought it last year and paid $65 I think

Thats the model I have, but I only use dvd-. No problems yet.
