Two cuts find new homes

Two of the players released by the Panthers Saturday have found work elsewhere.

WR Taye Biddle was claimed by Tampa Bay, and G D'Anthony Batiste was nabbed by Atlanta.

Both are players the Panthers would have tried to sign to the practice squad, but they showed enough in the preseason to warrant call-ups.

RB Eric Shelton wasn't claimed, though team officials said Saturday night they thought he would be.

Makes sense..

TB has no KR/PR on their team. Litteraly a blank spot on their depth chart. Guess Biddle could fill that role as well as "spy" for a division foe.
