Coulda told you that.

I think Beuerlein has replaced Mills as the most popular Panther ever. what a class act. btw, he go screwed this year with them signing Plummer. I have been pulling for the Broncos hard when Steve was QB. Had god given him some mobility, he could of been one of the greatest ever, cause his accuracy damn sure is.

I'm not debating that he's well liked, but I think Mills is more a fan favorite. If anyone displaces him in that role it would be WW if he ends up retiring (which is looking more and more probable).

he was on that same TV thing too... he was hosting a charity golf thing and SteveB was there playing in it... anyways Walls said as of right now he's not giving up hope... he still would like a POSSIBLE return to the Panthers but he feels there may not be room for him there now... (they added Seidman)... if he can't find something he said he's gonna retire at the beginning of the season... I'd hope the Richardsons do something for a retirement celebration

Yeah, I would expect and hope that if nobody shows any interest in Walls, that JR would let him re-sign and retire. That way he could retire a Panther. He's earned at least that much.

Hell yeah, he's earned a sign-and-retire deal easily. His name should be right up there with McCormack and Mills too. His stats are HOF worthy, and he didn't even get playing time during his first 5 years. He has just as many TDs and Shannon Sharpe with 200 less receptions, so he was definitely money in the redzone. Works out to something like 1 TD for every 8th reception. Pretty sure he's in the top 5 for most TDs by a TE too. Maybe even as high as 2nd behind horsey-face Sharpe.
