Ok, I'll start. Of last years draft conversations here or anywhere, the draft pick I was most wrong about - any team, any pick was our first round pick of Julias Peppers.

I am a Tarheel football fan. I felt Peppers had a tendancy to not give 100%, the few bad games he had -GT and few others made me think he had a few ???

I was not against picking Peppers, just with a first round pick. Boy was I wrong about him.

So, anyone else care to admit they were wrong in all your little mocks about the future sucess of a player?

Come on fellas, didn't ask if you were right about Peppers. You had to be wrong about somebody you pimped in the first round....

I was..

I was pimping trading down and getting Buchanon, mostly cause My homer heart wanted Peppers but I didn't want my NFL brain to be disapointed if he did turn out to be lazy sometimes. I even questioned his work ethic after seeing him first hand the first week of training camp. I was wrong...

Let's see, who did I pimp last year.

For the longest time, I pimped UT's John Henderson. I said he was better than Sims and better than his teammate Albert Haynesworth, both of whom Kiper and others had rated higher. I was adamant that he was the second best player in the draft, behind Peppers, and for a while I had them in lockstep.

That may have been an overstatement, but he was the best DT last year, making the all rookie team and leading rookie DTs in tackles and sacks.

I was wrong about Bryant McKinnie being a top 10, shut down Left Tackle. He sucks. Didn't want him here, but I bought into the hype after watching him shut down Freeney, a guy I underrated in part because of that game. Freeney can't play the run, but he gave Peppers a scare for DROY and is a hell of a pass rusher.

I was right about Phillip Buchanon being more talented than Jammer. He was my preseason DROY and looked the part before getting injured.

Second round, I hope I am wrong about having wanted Portis over Foster. I'd love for Foster to prove me wrong about that.

Third round, I was wrong about wanting a corner over WW. I didn't throw the hissy fit that Collin did, but I thought it was a reach and wanted a corner like Derek Ross. While Ross aparently played well enough for the Boys to get on ESPN's all rookie team, so did Witherspoon and it turned out we needed him.

Last 2 Panther picks were no brainers imo.

I do remember thinking that L. Tominlson could bust. Wrong there. I thought Koren Robinson would bust too. Santana Moss too.

Last yr I thought Stallworth and Grant would bust. Grant might but Stallworth is a talent.

Everyone is wrong sometimes in this thing. Thats for sure.

I'd give McKinnie a little time. He missed the entire preseason and camps. I still think he is gonna be their lefty for a long, long time.

oh yeah..John Henderson! I couldnt remember who I considered taking instead of Pep. It was Henderson.

I was wrong about Palmer this year. I wanted him early, way before even any first round talk. I guess I pimped him too much, and Cincy got wind.

Last year I was wrong about Foster, but right about Clinton Portis.
