Too bad that wasn't correctible at the time. But Larry Rose didn't get to referee the finals as punishment.

He is making Rose look like shit over a call he said was technically right. And if Rose warned them several times then I wouldn't say he had a short trigger.

Maybe State should start using the bench like every other team. Hell if they keep doing it in the NCAA I think they should get T'd up again if they are causing the game to be delayed.

Barakat looks like a man with a grudge to be not only taking this public but talking about the call and Rose personally in such detail.

Yeah, I love that. Sure it was the right call, but a lot of people were watching and we don't want to give them the idea that we actually enforce the rules in our tourney.

Like sly said, it's not Rose's fault that they ignored his warnings.

Ya think so? Domething sure happened during the timeout then. State was up 10 points, 53-43 at the 14:56 media timeout, the technical was called and Maryland goes on a 10-0 run and is tied at 12:35. The teams trade baskets and the lead until Maryland goes up for good at 66-65 with 7:34 remaining

You think Rose calling that T was what caused State to miss all those layups?

State was up 20 points at some point before that. No, not a turning point. They were already doomed.

How many layups do you see missed in the play-by-play during that period wossa? One. Maryland was credited for blocking 4 of the 8 layups missed by State. You've got to credit the defense for that, not the Wolfpack's inability to make the layup.

They cut the lead to 6 immediately after the technicals and State misses five straight shots, a jumper, a layup, a 3-pointer, aanother jumper and another 3-pointer which was rebounded for a basket.
