I absolutely want Allen on the 53 man roster, but one good game against Dennis Allen's vanilla scheme isn't enough for me to hand him the job. He needs a lot more practice and preseason reps.

Reid did a prove-it deal and now he's getting paid. That's because he's good enough to win a starting job for most NFL teams. Kaepernick was benched for Blaine Gabbert, he's not.
