Babin signed

:The Texans trade their second-, third- and fourth-round choices to division rival Tennessee for the right to take Babin with the 27th overall pick.

WOW thats a lot to trade up, hope he is all that for their sake.

reaches usually do get to camp quicker. They never expected to get that much. Babin really wasn't near a 1st rounder much less a guy to trade up to get.

This is the same agent as M. Strahan. He is not new to the game so I doubt that he would take less than the value of the draft position especially when the Texans showed their love by giving up so much to get him.

They are a team that really really needed a pass rusher. Thye lost so many games in the 4th quarter last year because they couldn't get to the QB. I think its well worth it. I like their chances next season.

Certainly not, but if the player's looking to sign, and they can get it done, he'd do it. There's no way that the Texans were just offering such a huge deal that Babin couldn't say no...he wanted in and paid despite the lower value.

another note: on the Falcs' board they are saying DeAngelo Hall has signed a 24 million deal. 6 year deal with a SB of 5 mil.

What's up, that sounds cheap and out of order.

Gross was #8 last year and I did a couple of searches on his contract but couldn't find any numbers . .. does anyone know the details of Gross' contract?
