Dumbass UncFever has stated emphatically that not just a couple of us but ALL of us have made that claim. I said I don't remember any of us making that claim.

Not me. I said they were top 10, and I still believe that, especially with the talent they have. The ACC is a tough conference this year. Better than I thought it was gonna be.

I think Duke's problem is consistency. Seems like every night one guy has a good or bad night. Not nearly the balanced scoring as the last couple of years. Jason Williams was usually the high scorer, but the other guys got points too. They'll improve and I think Coach K will have them ready for the tournaments.


Hell the loss to FSU last night they played like shit and still had a chance to tie at the end. If they play at their talent level every game, they're definitely top 10.

Who should be number one? Nobody I've seen this year has impressed me that much or looks like a dominating team.

The wager is simple...find where any Duke fan on this board said they deserved to be #1 and I will wear UNC paraphanalia to any location during either of the Duke UNC games and vice versa for you. Photographic evidence must be provided.

Not only that but you or I will have to eat crow........literally.

i said duke would be number one sometime this year. But i meant as default only. They got their week or two. I didn't figure it would last long.

At this point, i don't know if they are top ten. I'm waiting on one of those lineups to click. I'm sure coach k is as well. Sometimes too much talent is not a good thing. Plus, with casey sanders being the leader for the big men, things are not good. Duke needs a big man coach instead of 8 guards sitting on the bench.

BUT, enjoyed the time we spent there.
