I would finally have to say Yes, at this point. There are still a few better teams in the AFC but thankfully this is normally when Carolina starts to get better and others start falling off. Until yesterday i would not have thought they had a serious chance of getting to the SB, much less winning it.
Looking at the competition and remaining schedules they have a GREAT shot at winning home field and hosting the NFC championship game. Who would they face? Probably whoever comes out on top in the West seems most likely. I actually hope it's zona because I wouldn't be concerned about their RBs and if Carolina got the pressure they did on Rodgers then Palmer would be in for a long hard day. Seattle and St. Louis both have powerful RB's and present tougher matchups. Might get to host GB again and frankly without jumping out to a big advantage early I still see them as the biggest obstacle. Minnesota is the wildcard in my opinion, their defense is getting pretty damn good. A healthy Bridgewater and AP are a handful and as a team they are starting to roll. . . TB's concussion could be very bad news for them going forward though.
