Thank you Win XP....

It's AutoCad 2000LTi. I've never seen it before. I have downloaded all AutoDesk patches and updates for WinXP and anything Dell has on their site. Could it be from one of my video settings?

What happens is when I move the cursor in AutoCad, it leaves a trail wherever I go that is especially annoying when I'm copying a number of objects.

Here's a screen shot.

You gotta video accelerator card in that thing?

Yep. a 32MB Raedon. It's set at full acceleration.

Should I try changing the OpenGL or Direct3d settings?

I don't know. My very limited experience with CAD and video acc. cards comes from one install, for which I did pretty much everything you did. Someone at Dell might can help. Or maybe VOR, I guess.

I was thinking about VOR when I started this thread. I've installed ACADLT on 6 different machines now and never ever seen this. This video card has too many settings. Maybe I'll call AutoDesk tomorrow and then Dell if they can't help. I'm guessing it's something to do with the display. The same program runs fine on my slow 400mhz machine with an 8mb graphics card.

VOR may not be back for a long time. If you need him then e-mail his regular address. I'll send it if it ain't listed.

He's busy with a backlog of procrastinated work. I emailed him with a link to this thread. Maybe he and I can actually meet for lunch some time soon. I got something to give him anyways.
