I know LarryD is high on him and I'm beginning to agree. Great size and can and does go over the middle all day long. Has good speed and can get deep although a better intermediate type receiver. Bolden looks like a real sleeper ATP and as a second round pick looks like a great fit for us. He needs work on his route running but with good coaching he has all the tools you could want outside of blazing speed.

Any comments on this guy? He seems to be similar to Andre Johnson without some of the route polish and a bit less deep speed.

I personally see Lloyd as more explosive deep but Lloyd lacks size bigtime and I don't like frail receivers as much. Lloyd is a freak'n acrobat in the air though and has a lot of natural talent.

Outside of reaching for a Washington whose injury probably makes him a no way for the second - Bolden seems to make a lot of sense as a target. Good call LarryD.

I do like Aiken a lot too - but maybe wait till third for him. :D

Sheeeeesh.

I don't know squat about him, and yet I can't get "Donald Hayes" out of my mind.

If you saying Bolden is like Hayes, I would say no way. Actually Bolden is much more like Musin. Big frame and physical receiver. Bolden probably a bit quicker and faster however.

boldin is nothing like donald hayes.

boldin is muscular, strong, athletic, has great vision up the field and has a hell of a nose for the endzone and making the key catch.

he's an athlete and a playmaker.

solid #2 pick.

He'd probably be a smart pick. Yeah, Hayes had no muscle.
Routes aren't good, which is why I'm down on him, but he'd start here, and he could take over for Moose should we ever need another posession player.

Nothing like Donald Hayes Boldin is 10 times more athletic than Hayes and a real anything for the team type. Boldin is fearless reminds me of Hines Ward only taller and by far my favorite WR in this years draft.

I like his ability to make YAC. He can stretch a five yard pattern into a 20 yard gain real quick.

Boldin in round 2 is an excelent idea. He's the one player who really stood out athleticly last year for FSU.

He's Kelley Washington without the neck injury and attitude.

I wouldn't rank him QUITE that high but he's still good

(Unfair statement). There is no way he slips to us in the second unless he runs a 4.5 or slower.
