If he were available what would they be saying about him to stir up some doubt about whether we take him? Would he and Gabbert be the next Peyton vs. Ryan Leaf argument?

If Luck had decided to come out, I'm guessing that Gabbert would be considered a late first round pick if not a second rounder. But Luck was being unreasonably hyped back before he decided to stay, which is the first thing I posted about. He's not as good a prospect as Bradford was either, although he's still far better than any quarterbacks available in this draft.

Every year they tout a QB as the top overall pick whether he deserves it or not. Sounds like Luck did deserve it but Gabbert and Newton do not.

I'm thinking Luck would have entered the draft had the fucking Panthers not been on the clock. And when we have the #1 pick next year, I think he might just choose a safer career.

I really doubt that had anything to do with it. Whoever has the #1 pick is going to be a team that sucked the year before. Is it really worse going to the Panthers than it is going to the Browns, Bengals, Raiders, Lions, etc?
