that has come to me has me perplexed. I have the opportunity to coach either 9-10yr old or 11-12yr old kids in a community I used to live in. When I asked I thought hell yeah but then after thinking about it, I have almost talked myself out of it. It'd be between 6-8pm Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri for practice leading up to when we start playing games. Then those same times other than game nights. Oh and some Sat practice can be done if need be. I love working with kids but this takes away from my time with Joshua and Windy, doing things around here, my mom's and Windy's grannie's house.
Windy's uncles could take over her grannies stuff and Couz could help out with my mom's house but that still leaves my house neglected. Add in the Joshua and Windy time and that's the killer moreso than the other BS. Joshua turns 1 soon and I don't want to be away from him too much. Windy is normally rather low-maintenance unless we don't see each other too much then it's a whle new ballgame.
The community I'd be coaching in is where she grew up and lived almost all her life, so she could come out some with Joshua but mid-summer out at football practice toting a 1yr old can be a bitch.
I want to do this but I'm thinking I'd lose too much time with my family.
Opinions anyone?
