..."Terrel Owens" about three seconds after he came on the air and turned the channel on the TV.

I am so fucking tired of hearing that assholes name. We all know the story, and the story is, he is no longer a story for the 2005 season. He will not catch another pass this year, he will not even suit up. SO STOP MENTIONING HIS NAME AND STOP PUTTING HIM AS YOUR LEADING STORY!

I've decided that no mattter what I am watching for the rest of the season, the TV will either be changed to a different channel, volume muted or just turned the fuck off whenever they mention his name. Unless he gets hit by a bus or signs with the CFL or AFL, it has no news worthy value...capiche'?

Good point... :banginghe

If you're tired of it, do what I do......ignore it

A little hard when it's the first thing they talk about on every stinking ESPN/news show, probably even NBA Tonight or whatever the hell they call it. I wish they'd just let him go away, might dull his attitude a little.

just wait..

they'll mention McNabb's injury soon enough....even though it didnt seem to bother him while dancing that TD jig. There's even enough time for discussions about how TO wouldn't have dropped the McMahon pass that would have given Akers a chip shot FG attempt..

:D

Actually, the grievance is in arbitration, and if T.O. wins his case the implications could be big. Peter King paints an ugly picture of what could result if T.O. is allowed to walk away from his contract and sign with another team this year.

That said, I'm with you on being tired of the whole story.

"For 86 years in the NFL, a contract has been a contract,'' said Tagliabue. "But with these two rulings, players now understand they can get out of their deals and become instant free-agents by simply acting up, protesting their situations and demanding to be paid more than they are. If we allow this to happen, there's no sense in signing players to contracts anymore.''

lol, I'd love to see a commissioner say something like that, bunch of bitches. Maybe if anything, this'll just make the next CBA meetings harder in a few years. I don't see owners letting it get like that article makes it out to be.
