He does not project the Panthers to get any comp picks. He says he no longer believes that you have to lose more FAs than you sign, but that the value of the losses have to be at least twice as much as the value that you signed. And these equal number losses signed comp picks are usually 7th rounders.
Adam is a sports writer for a newspaper in South Dakota, or somewhere, who covers HS sports. He used to be the leader of a draft email list, which has since disbanded. He has deduced the rules by analysizing the picks awarded each year. He says many of them are not published anywhere.
