I'll admit that I'm somewhat of a hunch player when it comes to calling football games and my hunching is on high alert about the GB game.

I really felt good about our depth going into the skins game. After all that's what wins pre season games. That was verified by our back-up preformances in that game so I loaded up on the Giant game.

The line keep moving towards TB last night so I loaded up on Stl.

But the GB vs Panther game has me down. All my instincts tell me we are going to lose but my head tells me we are stronger than they are top to bottom.

Will the loss of Buck and Fields hurt us that much? Will our dept become less of an advantage? I know some of you have a handle on this game. I surely don't and I need help.

If we can't move on Green Bay's defense, at any level, something is wrong.

I was them Cleveland, and they got some problems at every level on D. First off, they didn't get any rush, despite having Joe Johnson and KGB and Jamal Reynolds at DE. They got nothing at DT, and their linebackers are getting caught up in the wash. And with no rush, their secondary was exposed.

Even Couch was able to ring up a TD. Holcomb killed them. And the Cleveland line dominated.

Burton is a solid backup at DT so the Buckner loss won't be as bad... but the loss of Fields hurts bad... hopefully either Favors or Allen will show who deserves the job at that game

Thanks Piper, I do so wish we were the kind of team that would take advantage of a weak D, but alas, I'm afraid we will just become more conservative and let them hang around. It would be nice if Fox would let the youngsters just go in there and air it out. Just dreaming of course.

I agree about Burton. Jenk and shaun are formidable but after that what? Tate ( 1 year) , E manning Ore rookie, Moorehead Ala rookie. Although I am interested in taking a good look at Moorehead. Is he even healthy?

I'd like to see:

Weinke and/or Delhomme assert themselves against the first D.

Favors turn in a solid performance.

Anything else, including the score, would be icing.
