If there are limited or no fans in 2020 games, I've heard the cap could go down by as much as 70 million dollars. How would this affect teams like Kansas city who just handed out 3 big deals. Would players have to take a # % off their deals for that year or would teams have to cut a load of players and sign players for minimum wage.

There would be both cuts and deals being renegotiated to move cap hits to later years across the league. KC would probably be gutted in a hurry.

The most cap space heading into free agency this march was miami with 85 million. 70 million lost next year would be catastrophic.

They've already negotiated and agreed to spread the cap hit over the next several years. I think the League knows they're not going to be making the money they anticipated. But hey, lift every voice and sing, right?
