How many lost fumbles did he have this year?

As for running inside, I can't put that all on him, but you are right he isn't best suited for that, even though others will argue that one.

All those things are attributeable to "run lower."

If he could work on that, he'd take less shots, be better inside, and be more secure.

The ball security thing hasn't been bad. He seems to know when someone is around and will put it away. I don't think he has fumbled at all this year.

And no, it isn't all him, or any of our backs. Goings was better last year. Mitchell and Reyes will have to be improved upon. But I do wish he'd run with more lean.

draws are inside plays too.

Of course, so were a lot of those big runs today. They're just not often there. He's not and never will be Stephen Davis.


he's only fumbled twice. It's much improved. I don't think we lost but a couple fumbles at all from backs from last year, either.

Of course, technically, his injuries are "better" too. Nothing catastrophic, just nagging. But continual.
