I'm double posting this shit. I had to work at it.

Our record this year when he throws 30 or more times is 3-5 ( every loss has been a 30+ throw event ).

Our reg season record since 2004 when we throw the ball 30 or more times is 6-18.

Our reg season record since 2004 when we throw the ball less than 30 times is 18-1.

Anybody know the stats for all NFL qb's win/loss with 30 throws?

dude.

go jog around the neighborhood in your PJ's and check out some Myer's Park trim or something.....you are really starting to crack up.

it's the chicken and egg conundrum, obviously.

I believe it has to be solid running attack to set up the pass, but with a majority of the carries- with a larger ypc average, into the forth qtr once you have the lead and their d is worn out. Most significantly, is the fact that there must be sustained drives all along, eating clock, during most of the game.

But our O doesn't know how to eat clock. We haven't been ahead with a large cushion much at all over the past coupla years, consistently. We pitter and patter, 3-5 and out all day, and all the sudden here comes a 57 yarder to smith for 6. etc. Or as usual, our d gets a take away at good fiel position, we do essentially 3 or 4 plays and sputter but in FG range, then we get a miserable three.

And, since there has been a lack of big plays on O, (and special temas I might add) and we live and die by them, we're dying right now. It is what it is, yes indeed it is. While the one or two or even three big plays are certainly exciting, the offense generally lays an egg most series.

To add, punting constantly allows more chances for the opposing O to score. Sure, our d is good. But generally taking back to the field every three of four minutes because our O can't sustain drives, or that it generally might take them two minutes to score with a big play, then the d is lucky to have what they do up til now, no matter how good they are.

And no matter how good our d is, or how bad the opposing o is, when you turn it over to them, or give them decent field pos a buncha times over and over again, they're gonna luck up (or d break down on a play or two) and score, just like wash did yestersday.

DUDE THIS IS CRITICAL SHIT.

:newsmile26:

Critical?

Dude all you have to do is take the square object and put it in the square hole....circular object and put it in the circular hole....triangle object and put it in the triangular hole.

When we are winning we run the ball and control the clock, which leads to victories, so there are more running attempts than throwing attempts. (that's the square hole)

When we are loosing we throw the ball and do not control the clock, which leads to losses, so there are more passing attempts than running attempts. (that's the circular hole)

When we are tied we balance the attack and try to set up the pass with the run, which leads to some wins and some losses (triangular hole), if it works and we take the lead then we revert to the square peg and win the game...if it doesn't work and we fall behind then we revert to the circular peg and loose the game.

:guns4: :dunce:

problem is we can run the ball cause Foster stinks ;-)
