The Charlotte Hornets have reached terms on a contract extension with prized guard Kemba Walker, according to league sources.
Sources told ESPN.com that Walker will receive a four-year, $48 million extension from the Hornets that will kick in starting with the 2015-16 season.
He is not great, but he could be a lot worse.

The website sucks. The official Hornets website, that is. The fans seem to suck, as well. They are extremely quiet and are sitting on their collective asses.

The brand new Hornets pulled their first game out of their asses for an OT win.
Taking 101 shots and dominating the boards will get wins more than not.
Coach Clifford said before the game that the team defense wasn`t as good as last year and he looks to be correct.
Kemba still can`t shoot, but MKG looks to be improving his game.
When Lance is having a bad shooting game then he can appear to ratchet up the rebounds and assists.

He is just happy that two of his nine makes came near the end of regulation and OT.
If any of his 17 misses or his 6 misses of his 11 at the FT line would have went in then there would have been no OT.
He took 26 shots and 11 FT attempts to get his 26 points.

Different sport but I think there are some parallels between last year's/this year's Panthers and last year's/this year's Hornets. I don't expect much. Being the Hornets again is nice I guess.
