So i was looking back thru some draft mags from the Carr/Peppers draft just for more info on Carr and i noticed they had a mock draft in there with Carr and Deshaun Foster getting drafted in rounds 1 and 2 by the Texans. It had a note saying what a potentially fearsome backfield the opposing teams in the NFL might have to face in the near future.

It made me chuckle.

We took Foster ahead of Clinton Portis..... Peppers and Portis would have made that an awesome draft.

Hey, it could have been William Green or TJ Duckett.

William Green and T.J Duckett went before both of them. Basically shows it's a crap shoot from mid first round back.

It is a crap shoot all the time. Carr went #1 overall, Harrington went #3.

Portis went in the second round because he was small for the position. He did however prove himself playing for Miami so it was silly to think he was too small for the NFL. I hope we get Buster Davis because he is not a first rounder based on his size but played well at Florida State.

I know, just pointing out that the two RB rated higher were complete busts.

People like to talk about what might have been, (McNair and Eddie George) it could have been worse than Foster. At least he's still around making an impact.

BTW, i was a Portis over Foster guy too.

I bet you type with more than 2 fingers.

Que?

Im kinda hoping for Paul Posluzny and Buster Davis myself (If Willis aint an option). Id like Zack Miller between those two picks also.
