13/43/67/74

13 - Calais Campbell
43 - Cherilus is a no-brainer, and I wouldn't have peeked
67 - Marcus Harrison - size to rotate on our interior D-line with Jenkins gone
74 - Cousins

Yeah, I drafted 2 OTs with our starters under contract, but there are various combinations we could try to bolster our interior. I'm not that sold that both Kalil and Hartwig have to be starters, having a C sit on the bench another season won't kill us if our line overall improves as a result. Massive depth at tackle and possible upgrades at guard.

13. Rashard Mendenhall, RB - I think this guy is going to be great.
(considered DE Phillip Merling, OT Chris Williams...starting to not like Calais Campbell...looked dorky doing drills at combine)

43. Gosder Cherilus, OT - Could start at RT by mid-season.
(If I went with OT Williams, i'd have gone with DE Chris Ellis from Va Tech)

67. Dre Moore, DT - replace one Terp DT with another. He's quick. His development allows us to cut Kemo next offseason.

73. Heath Benedict, OT - Tackle depth. Could play OG. Do we end up keeping Gross next year?

13 Calais Campbell- I have a feeling he will be the pick come april, his stock is falling so we may even be able to trade down and still get him.
43 Fred Davis-Why take Cherilus? We'll come to terms with Gross on a deal that'll make my head explode. Davis is another weapon in the passing game.
67 Marcus Harrison-Jenkins' replacement. Fuck. I'm still unhappy we traded him.
74 Cousins- I would say Adams but he isn't really a FS and frankly, why the hell would the FO change their ways now?

13 Mendenhall
43 OT Nicks
67 DE Lawrence Jackson
74 D Red Bryant, Jonathon Hefney if DT is addressed in FA.

I like Davis.
Cherilus is a good value there, and a need. If Wharton's a guard, we need a tackle. The issue is, in the scenario, you're using the top 100 list to figure out who's been taken, and you're really not supposed to know that Cherilus will be there at 43. You're only supposed to know who's gone, which is what makes it more realistic than "I'll take Dorsey in the first, Clady in the 2nd, and Owen Schmitt in the 7th!!!111"

I understand the idea of it. I think I might've captured the thought process in the war room anyways.

13. Otah - a bit of a reach but has size and we need that
43. Chris Ellis - brings pass rush
67. Cousins - someone goes to guard.
74. Quentin Demps - plug that hole in the defense.
