Atlanta Braves Thread

3 for Braves' great Bob Horner.

"In nine seasons in Atlanta, 1978 to 1986, he batted .278 with an .847 OPS with 215 home runs and 652 RBIs."

Ha-Seong Kim has 5 hits in 52 at bats. All singles. Then again, maybe he is a defensive wiz with the glove? Meh. Not all that great... Even if he could play every infield position at once it still wouldn't make up for his automatic out plate appearances. If he makes it up to the mythical Mendoza line of .200 it will the miracle of the season considering he is sitting on .092 currently and there are better options on the bench. His luckiest break might be his exorbitant $20 million dollar salary. Luck because at that amount the Braves management feels compelled to start him.

When the manager insists on starting a SS that is hitting less than .070 and Acuna seems to be out more than not and your former All Star 3rd baseman is hitting .212 and your idiot LF gets a season long ban for drug use and the rookie of the year catcher has forgotten how to hit since coming off an injury then this can happen. Even the starting pitchers have been struggling. 10 game leads can dissappear in a hurry.

"The Braves recalled right-hander Carlos Carrasco, who allowed five runs in the ninth. Right-hander JR Ritchie was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett after he threw three scoreless innings to earn his first save in Saturday night's 14-3 runaway win."
WTF!! Carrasco has been shit the whole season. He shouldn't be on a Braves' roster at any level.
