We all know about Palmer, Leftwich, Simms, Grossman, and Boller . . . and Romo is another 4th yr QB that’s about to get tested soon enough. Here is a list of even YOUNGER QBs (3rd year or less) that are either currently starting or figure to be starters -

Roethlisberger (Pit) Ring wearer, and poster boy for helmets
Rivers (SD) Comparing him to Peyton on ESPN today. Oh my!
    E. manning (NYG) In the opinion of many he’ll be better than big bro
Young (Ten) Looking good so far. Natural born leader notched the first of many Ws
Leinart (Ari) Looking REALLY good so far but may not have so many Ws in Zona
Smith (SF) I see that name and I think Steve or Emmitt - don’t know the guy yet
Losman (Buf) hot & cold so far but has enough upside to be a starter … in buffalo
Gradkowski (TB) Surprisingly good …Has some saying “Chris who” already
Schaub (Atl) Vicks 66% rating and reemphasis on running has their fans debating
Campbell (Was) Brunell is running out of gas and Skins fans want Jason to start
Frye (Cle) 67% rating with 2 to 1 INT/TD ratio and record of 1-4 = not so good
Walter (Oak) 43% rating and ZERO wins = REALLY not so good
Rodgers (GB) wouldn't you HATE to have to follow the legend?
Cutler (Den) wouldn't you love to be the next Elway?!
Clemens (NYJ) Isn't it Collin who loves this guy so much?

Just wanted to open the subject up for discussion -
One direction to go with it . . . Judging by the current crop of NFL QBs which teams figure to draft the position on day one in ‘07?

Oakland? They might be pressured into drafting Quinn
Detroit? Kitna's future as a starter ain't so bright
Cleveland? And neither is Frye's at the present
Kansas City? They are a prime candidate to draft a QB high
Minnesota? How old is Brad Johnson now?
Dallas? You never know with schizophrenic Jerry Jones
Baltimore? If McNair doesn't stay in one piece it's possible, though i guess they are more of a tradefer club and maybe they'll pony up for a younger guy like the spleenless Simms, or the Almighty Schaub!

Oakland? They like Walter, and they have other problems. Walter will retain the job, Shell won't.

Detroit? I would expect them to go after a veteran QB.

Cleveland? The Browns are high on Frye, but for how long? They'd be wise to add competition.

Kansas City? Agreed, they should be getting thier future in line.

    Minnesota? Tavares Jackson

    Dallas?
He stuck with Quincey, didn't he?

Baltimore? WIth a strong D, the Ravens need a game manager for a QB. A vet usually foots that bill.
