    Calling for David Carr is when you know your franchise is in hell. You can ask panthers fans about that too but 49ers fans had far more warning of his awfulness.

    Hmm...Kap has Cam Newton disease. Holds the ball too long. As much as college football has changed and all the trends are the read option stuff...eventually someone will run the ball, control the clock and win with defense. Panthers need to get back to it. We really need to stick with running it right now.

    Recent success?

    49ers: 1 Superbowl appearance and 3 trips to the NFC Championship in 3 years
    Panthers: 1 playoff appearance along with a solid butt fucking by the 49ers in your crib.
