you guys want advertisements here?

i value your opinion, meat. i'll look into how much they are talking about -- actually, they were wanting me to send them an ad rate sheet. it may be a click-thru rate, so it may just be nickles and dimes. on the other hand, maybe they can pay for a full month of our server.

The only objection I would have, Larry, would be pop-ups. Those things drive me crazy. But I know money is tight, and you've gotta do what you've gotta do.

I think the people that have not contributed should do so. If you can make a few bucks for the Board or what you do for the Board then go for it. But, I do not think that advertisements should cover the ass of those that don't care enough to cough up 20 bucks.

 

let me be clear -- we don't HAVE to do anything.

but if someone wants to give us some money to have a link to their site...i'll listen. it'd have to be decent money though. $100/month at least. i do like that it's panthers-related.

by the way, any TBR member that owns their own business that wants to get a link put up, let me know.

and there's no way that i'd ever put pop-ups on here.

I would say yes to advertisers if for no other reason we could have more band width and size. I also think that we need to keep the cafe for members only because if we had visable pron the advertisers wouldn't probably come in.
