    got this in the email:

    Hello,
Just following-up to see if you have had a chance to review what we are looking for and decide if advertising space if available. We are kicking off our campaign for the Panthers in other places and would like to include your site. Please let me know as soon as possible.
    Thank you,

    xxxxxxxxx

i've said no in the past, but i thought i'd throw it out to the crowd.

positives: we'd get some $$ to help offset our costs. maybe we could get discounts for our memers. this is a travel package site.

negatives: we'd be sellouts. i'd have to work thier ad into the pages somehow. it wouldn't feel as "ours" as it does now.

how come there's only one yes vote so far, then? :)

the cafe will always be a "premium" service. we've got too many younger eyeballs on the VERY active prep side of things. i've gotten a lot of positive feedback from the parents over there about moving the cafe.

anytime anyone wants to contribute just a few $$ (i've had anywhere from $5 to $50 donated), just PM me for my address or a link to the paypal site. when i get your contribution, i upgrade your account to "premium member" and you've got acess tot he cafe -- where folks are having fun posting HTML.

oh, this guy added that their ad campaign runs from june - september, with an option for adding months depending upon the response.

Not on the board... if we decide to do what we talked about before then NON-pop up Ads are okay... I still think we should do it for our long time people anyways on that "thing"... BTW any new news on that... lemme know when you want me to start building something...

Larry, is there a specific place the ads would have to be placed? I by-pass the main page and go straight to the forum list, so you could put it up there with all our clown faces.:)

I'd like it tastefully done, but you certainly have my blessing.
