Yao Ming cleared to play in NBA

    I hear this kid's amazing. Anybody know any details? Who's got his rights, when might he play, etc.

    Dallas has Wang Zhi Zhi, another 7 foot chinese guy, he's on their roster now. Yao Ming is a 7'5 genetic freak who will be eligible for this year's draft. With all the success of the Euro players recently, combined with Ming's freakish height and agility, he has a strong shot at being the number 1 pick. He might even be a decent player from what I've read. I never heard anything good about Pau Gasol and he's turned out to be a decent player. So if Yao is only half as good as his hype, he should have a nice career. Word is Jordan saw him when he was 16 and wanted the Bulls to sign him immediately.
