Cars are such a rip off. You buy one and immediately you are upside down. Even if you start off with equity in a trade in you still end up upside down. I almost wish I could total it so I could start over with a junker.

Anyone want to buy my Xterra? It is a 2001 with 78k miles. It is a 4wd SE and has pretty much everything on it. I need about $15k for it. I know that will be hard but if anyone wants to give me some charity let me know and I will post some pics.

I've never been upside down. Maybe you just always buy more than you can really afford. I'd think 25% down would be the minimum.
