it was disappointing that the LBs all played like that, but it's a lot like the problems early in the year, and at times in 04 and so on. It's as if they're all moving in unison, being fooled by the same thing. Anderson showed some nice flashes, but he's not ready.

A 19 yard gain on 2nd and 20 from the 4. This is after making contact with the TE for a 5-7 yard gain. Bengals go on to score and take the lead.

    Is Chad ????????

I saw this during the game, and I just saw it on the highlights, I did a goggle search and Chad Johnson comes up as gay, if so ,,#71 needs to be fined by the NFL.

When he's not getting in the endzone, he really looks like a fuckhead with that golden mohawk.

No, I don't think we should blitz more, mainly because we're not very good at it. Particularly up the middle. I will echo the statement about our linebackers sucking today. Anderson looked okay on the stat sheet, but not so good on the field. The LB play reverted back to the Atlanta game, and our tackling habits reverted back to the Atlanta game.

Still, giving up 17 should have been enough to win, but, quoting Denny Green, we let them off the hook in certain situations. It's a frustrating loss, but it would hurt us more if it was a divisional or conference game.

we don't have much speed right now, so blitzing doesn't help. And don't forget, this was an elite level passer last year - it's not like blitzing all the time is the way to beat him. We did have that good blitz, which was a looper with Draft coming behind Anderson, but only Anderson has the speed to make a good blitz work often enough.

Cincy showed a good example of why the 3-man rush does work. They were bringing 6, 7, so one play we max protected, and they dropped 8. I don't remember the end result of the play, it wasn't picked obviously and it wasn't something we burned, but it made a difference and he couldn't just get the ball out.

Yeah, I didn't know whether the blitz worked because they picked their spots or whether it would have worked if they had just tried it more.

Somebody explain why we didn't run the ball more. Foster wasn't that bad, had 4.2 yards/carry, and we were never out of the game.

That would be my main offensive beef, Foster was running hard. I wouldn't have minded more running at all.
