    To clarify: the release of Peppers transcript and the hubub around it was meant to be an indictment of UNC by the press, not me. I personally think this goes on at most schools.

    I do believe it stinks that the school wants to hang all academic shanangans on Butch Davis.

    That's the point is that it goes on at all or most schools. I have a friend that used to edit papers at Purdue and she said it was common place for football and basketball players.
