Phillies need Pedro to pitch really deep into the game. That bullpen can't get me out.

Phillies need to continue to hit the ball very well. Petitte is very hittable.

Petitte can be rocked! He may be just what the doctor ordered. Utley needs some help, thou. If Howard, Victorina, & Feliz can snap out of their funk, we could see a game 7. Howard's due big-time! I'd put my money on him having a monster game tomorrow night. The Phillies aren't done yet!

Dude looks normal as well. No bulging forearms or neck or ginormous head.

Every left handed batter should try to copy that swing. It's so short, so sweet, so powerful.

Buster Olney brought up a good point about Pedro. The first go through in the Yankee order should be very telling. The Yanks have seen the new Pedro (no fast ball) so we'll see if the Yankees can guess better and rough him up early. This is Petittes first start on three days rest since 2003. Should be interesting. As far as Utley I bet having Ryan Howard bat behind you helps you get good pitches to help. I would love to see Howard pull his head out of his ass and start hitting the ball. I think he is already tied with Willie Wilson for series strikeouts.

If I'm Joe Girardi, the rule is...Throw him no strikes and no fastballs. He's swinging at a lot of bad pitches.

Yankees have alot of firepower. Petitte pitched well, Matsui had a monster game, & the Phillies couldn't generate enough offense to keep up.

Bat for bat the teams IMO are the same. The defining moment came when Brad Lidge blew game 4. Lidge and Hamels were not the same players from last year and no matter how good the offense is you simply can't have a a closer with an era at or above 7
