I like Draft tek better after I saw how they scored our 2005 draft.

    We actually scored -150.

If Hang becomes a starter, it might move to the positive.

    Bad draft.

    550 for 2006

Bigger needs, sure. But if they think that RB is BPA - I'm fine with it.

I would be disappointed in the team if we use our first on a RB. We need a DE or a G more.

It is better to go BPA if you can clearly determine who BPA is. If they are relatively equal as far as you can tell then draft for need.

There's no Guards worthy of a first round pick.

DE - yeah sure that's a bigger need. Depends who is there.

DT / DE I'd say is our biggest round 1 'need'. After that, I'd say OT / RB. A quality OT would allow us to release Gross next year and save a ton on the cap.

Second round should yield a starting guard, or someone to compete. Same with DE/DT. Jenx and Rucker were second rounders, as was LeCharles Bentley.

    As was Bruce Nelson.

Translation = "no RB in the first"

    I agree.

There is a big difference when we drafted DW to now. At that time Foster was coming off another injury and had been in for 4 years. We even structured his deal so that it would be easier to cut him in any year of the contract. Plus, Foster had been injured every year to that point so we knew the position needed help.

Now, we have DW who is in his third year and has done everything he can do to warrant him the chance to be the guy to carry the load. I think he should have been given the nod early last year especially when everything went to crap. You don't draft a RB in the first round 2 out of 3 years when you haven't even given the first guy a real chance. Especially when RB is an easier position to fill than the numerous places we have holes out. Makes about as much sense to me as getting a QB round 1 when we have a healthy Jake and tons of potential Moore waiting in the wings.

Put marshal @ saftey geta another CB. Draft Otah or Gholsten, or some other DE for PEP to play with. :REDanceBanana008:
