I just cracked open the last of 4 bottles of wine I lugged back from France in my ski boot bag. Try carrying 4 bottles of wine and two ski boots through four airports and you will understand why I appreciated it so much. :xyzthumbs

How many bottles can you legally bring back into the states or is any of it legal?

Finished a bottle of 1999 Castello Banfi - Brunello di Montalcino over the weekend. Damn that was good.

Wife and I went to Napa in 2001. Bought several bottles of a 1998 Forman Cabernet that kicked ass. We drank the last one on Sunday nite.

Try a bottle of Reisling, it's sweet, not dry. You might like it.

Also, LaBelle Amie Winery in Little River, SC has several "sweet" wines. They will never be mistaken for fine wines but I like to go to the winery on the weekends. They usually have a band during the spring and summer.

Childress has a nice winery here in Davidson County.
