Jason Williams was named the Associated Press consensus national player of the year, with almost twice as many votes as the next player. Duke also put 2 players on first team all-America for the 2nd straight year.

I hope JW's draft status is affected by this past season. It would be a hoot listening to all the coaches recruit against K by using JW's draft drop. I would use it against him. JW shoulda went pro last year when he woulda been #1. This is why I think MD leaves early.

well, it could've been that jw couldn't handle the pressure this year either. Wasn't k's fault blue. Watch the classic sports on jwill. Moms and pops weren't letting him leave duke without a diploma. Doesn't matter, you can wish all you want, K won't have a doh year. #1 recruiting class (possibly ever) next year-if they all show. And, they're looking at a pretty damn good one the next year if they get the commitments. Maybe unc will pick up lebron james for his one year, much like felton. Carolina panthers use the quick fix, why not the tarheels.

Just wonder if he does have another down year such as 95, which one of his boys will he stab in the back this time, collins or wojhoehhesiikeit. Get bent Crest. Coach K had a few bad years at Duke before he started winning, all you whiners that like to bitch about 95 are just sour grapes from sucking this year. Gaudet sucked as a coach, he couldn't win in the clutch situations, there were quite a few games in 95 they lost by less than 10 points and the 10 point margin came at the end. I would venture to say even though Coach K has not won the Championship with some great teams, he has 3 since they started winning all the time in the mid 80's. And how about all the final fours? I guess you'll still be whining about 95 10 years from now.

JCB, you are a disgrace to Duke fans. I'm am a duke fan, and I am embarrassed. What the hell man? Jason Williams could not shoot free throws, and more importantly, he didn't play defense. And of course you know, he choked two big games this year because he could not make free throws. I'd rather have Shaq for free throws than Jason Williams.

Get your facts straight. Duke was 9-3 when Coach K went out.
