Exactly. I would be willing to guess most if not all of Jakes INTs came when he was throwing from his heals with a 300 lber in his grill or being twisted around like a rag doll. You love him when he gets lucky and makes one of those foolish throws but that is not the norm. Move Wharton to Guard dump Reyes and get a servicable tackle either in free agent (hard, teams don't let go of tackles) or draft one and hope he can handle things

I would say several of Jake's interceptions came with little to no pressure. Makes him human. Brady's done it. As has Manning. We all know Eli's story. And Bledsoe. Again, not a personal shot. Just laying out the rest of the field, as a fair barometer.

It's all in the footwork. It's not just a matter of JD being a fucking moron. It is mechanical. When you don't plant your feet, step into your throws, and follow through, you usually don't hit your target.

Now, I will say this. Jake seems like he will never reach a point in his career where he just calms the fuck down. I think that works against him often times. You can't be anything other than who you are, and I'm not suggesting that JD should morph into George Seifert. But he needs to settle down a bit. His passes sail. That is mechanical, but those 14 Rock Star Energy Colas he downs pre-game appear to directly alter his otherwise acceptable mechanics.

    That, and Reyes/Mitchell getting raped.

Jake doesn't play the game through the same vision you see on television

I'm cool with Carter and Colbert battling for the two spot and using a later pick on a WR to replace proehl. I'll say it again, this team would be so different with a quality tight end. Draft Pope.

For what we need and the money we will have to spend to upgrade this position I agree.
