trying to run the clock out is generally a good idea when you're up 11. We've gone for it when up before, though.

I'm a little disturbed about our playcalling in OT.

Because we're scared as shit of Jake fucking up and gifting the opposition with an easy interception. You know, like the four throws the Giants dropped that easily could have been picked off. Still, you have to think we would have made that field goal if not for Smith's blatant holding. I have no idea what he was thinking.

We had decent field position. Then again, the Giants weren't any more aggressive with their playcalling. They were able to line up and execute what we knew was coming.

yeah, we were just safe, that's all there is to it. There's no hidden motives, or scared of this or that, we thought we had it and should've.

I saw one pass that could've been picked off. Same for Eli.

Exactly. This became glaringly apparent tonight. Glaringly.

I was going to say that they don't have Steve Smith, but I guess they do. They don't have the All-Pro Steve Smith, though. If Plaxico was suited up you can damn sure bet that they would have been calling passes for him in those critical situations.

3rd quarter, the wind was tough. I expected more in the 4th. Smitty did have one thrown his way that looked like he should have had.
