So if he'd have said that McNabb's overhyped because he's an athletic player who runs around, but isn't a great passer, that wouldn't have made any sense?

Cosells comment was not at all derogatory, in fact, the guy he was referring to had a team nickname relating to monkey somehow...totally taken out of context.

Rush, while I can't stand the ego-maniac, said nothing wrong either. He was knocking the media, which he should have known the comment would get twisted?

Now Jimmy the Greek, there was a racist comment. Hard to take that any other way than how it is written. Unfortunate though, e was a brilliant commentator when discussing the nuances of the game of football.

Overall, as a society, we're a bunch of over sensative, pansie ass, drama queens and well...bitches!

 

I think Rush's was racist. He was blasting the media, but the media doesn't prop up black qb's. They were ripping on McNabb when he made the comments.

Rush made a statement that he can't support. It was a stupid fucking statement. Maybe Mcnabb is over-rated, but Rush's reason for him being over-rated was a complete fantasy, and I have a hard time not seeing the racism in it.

Just tell the fucking monkey to run faster, dammit. Pretend there's watermelon in the end zone.
