Did anybody take Stephen Davis? I think he needs to retire, because he has gotten' rusty over the years and I don't the he can contribute to a team, at least not a starter. He had 12 rushing td's in 2005, but 9 were 1 yard tds and only had 5 20-yd rushes.

He's interested in Philadelphia. I'm not sure if they're interested in him, though. There was some speculation about Washington, but they just traded for Duckett. I think he can be a servicable back-up somewhere, but his days of carrying the load are long gone.

They did have him in for a physical so they have to have some interest in him.

Maybe, but I doubt it. Most guys that are brought in don't end up signing with that team. It's basically a no-cost way to check someone out in case you change your mind or if you have another injury that forces you to make a move. Note that he still hasn't been offered a contract even though it would seem pretty important to get him in quickly so that he could learn the offense by the regular season.

Maybe they didn't like what they saw on the physical. Both McNabb and Reid were talking about having him in on NFL channel.

I think they were taking the high road, instead of telling the guy off. I didn't hear Reid or McNabb actually say we want him.
